We recommend interlocking pavers or Travertine over poured concrete. Poured concrete is prone to cracking as the ground shifts and temperatures fluctuate. Pavers are flexible, allowing them to withstand ground movement without cracking, and individual stones can be easily replaced if stained or damaged.
Functionality is key. For a main entrance, we recommend a width of at least 4 feet to allow two people to walk comfortably side-by-side. For secondary paths, such as side yards or garden paths, 3 feet is standard. We will help you determine the perfect dimensions based on traffic flow and available space.
