We are a specialized design-build firm, not a maintenance crew. The secret is in the prep work. We excavate deeper and use a thicker layer of compacted aggregate base than most competitors. We also use polymeric sand between joints, which hardens like grout to lock pavers in place and inhibit weed growth while still allowing for necessary flexibility.
While not strictly mandatory, we highly recommend sealing, especially for natural Travertine. Sealing enhances the color, protects against stains (like red wine or BBQ grease), and helps prevent UV fading. We can include professional sealing as part of your installation package.
